Stephen Gulley
Consultant
Stephen Gulley, joined Turner Hopkins in 2021 after running his own practice, Moody & Gulley, for over 30 years. Stephen has dealt with a wide range of legal issues over the years and brings a great depth skills and experience to the team.
Stephen’s expertise
In his previous firm, Stephen often appeared in the criminal, civil, and family courts, but in more recent times, most of his work has focused on commercial and residential real estate transactions (for example, he handled the legal side of the Hampton Downs Motor Sport Park development), relationship property, trusts, wills and the administration of estates.
Stephen also assists some older clients – particularly those without close family – to look after their finances and affairs.
Stephen’s father was raised in Devonport and was an early pupil at Takapuna Grammar School. Originally from West Auckland himself, Stephen has lived on the North Shore for more than 30 years and in Takapuna for more than 20 years.
Stephen loves swimming and diving and boating and the beach, and snow and water skiing. He has completed over 100 half marathons – but only one marathon – and many 100+ kilometre bike rides and plans to attempt a half Iron Man as his workload eases a bit in his new role as a Turner Hopkins consultant.
